Travels with the Cornmaidens

"Picture yourself in these wonderful places"

Canyon De Chelly

Coronado Monument

Coronado Monument

For nearly 5,000 years, people have lived in these canyons - longer than  anyone has lived uninterrupted anywhere on the Colorado Plateau.  In  the place called Tseyi, their homes and images tell us their stories.  Today, Navajo families make their homes, raise livestock, and farm the  lands in these canyons.

Coronado Monument

Coronado State Monument includes the partially  reconstructed ruins of the ancient Pueblo of Kuaua. The pueblo of Kuaua  was occupied from 1300 AD and abandoned near the end of the 16th  Century. Today you can visit this historical site and learn about the  history of the Kuaua pueblo people.

Acoma Sky City

Acoma Sky City

Visiting Acoma Sky City with Corn Maiden Tours offered new ways to enjoy the pueblo, vistas, and legends. They engage their own Acoma Pueblo guide and storyteller who is separate from the shuttle groups. Their expert photographers show where to focus for memorable images. And the delicious picnic they provide between Acoma and Enchanted Mesa holds the power of both places among serene woods.    --- Maya Sutton, Ph.D., Sutton Seminars

The Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument  is a remarkable outdoor laboratory, offering an opportunity to observe,  study, and experience the geologic processes that shape natural  landscapes. It is located 40 miles southwest of Santa Fe. This is a 6-8 hour trip with hiking in moderate terrain.
